How much is it to rent a self-storage unit from InStorage?

We have a variety of sizes to choose from with rentals ranging from P 1,455 a month to P 10,616 per month (excl. VAT).  We encourage you to visit our site to choose the unit that fits your needs.

What are your rental periods?

InStorage rental periods start at one month to one year periods.  You can renew in  monthly or yearly increments.   Click here to access our size and price chart.  Our prices are Vat-inclusive.

Upon signing with InStorage,  the Storer shall pay:

  1. Storage fee/ month
  2. Security deposit – refundable if no damage
  3. Access card deposit
  4. Administration fee

How do I terminate my rental?

Your rental can be renewed automatically on month to month at current InStorage rates when you have an auto debit arrangement with us. Otherwise, your rental will end at the date specified on our rental contract.

Should you wish to end your rental contract before the original term end, please inform us 15 days in advance so we can process your paperwork.  We do not refund unused portions of the rental fee because we have reserved the space for your exclusive use during the entire rental duration.  Thank you for your understanding.

InStorage will give you 30 days notice regarding any price increase.  If you are not amenable to the new prices, please give us 15 days notice in advance of your term end that you will vacate your unit.

Example:

  • Term beginning is Dec 1
  • Term end is Jan 31.
  • Jan 1 – InStorage should inform storer of price increase 30 days in advance of term end or in this case, Jan. 1.
  • Jan 16 – If storer does not wish to continue, then he/she should inform us in writing latest by Jan 16.
  • Jan 31- Vacate premises by Jan 31.

The magic number to remember is 15 days before the end of the term notice in advance of any termination.  This is regardless of any reason or arrangement whether auto-debit, lease term end, disagreement with price increase, etc.

Kindly empty your storage unit completely by the end date of the contract period.  Unless you have an auto debit arrangement that allows you to automatically renew on a month to month basis. Our leasing representatives will be in touch to remind you of your deadlines.

InStorage has its own insurance for the facility.  We recommend our clients/storers to take out personal insurance on their items since they know the value of the items they store.

We encourage you to only rent storage for the period that you need and at the amount you can afford.  In the unlikely event that your account becomes overdue, the following rates will apply to your unit.

  1. Late payment charge:  3% per month
  2. Legal / Lien Charge on past due accounts : P 5,000
  3. Lien Sale Fee for abandoned units: P 5,000 + transport, handling and auction fees.  30 days after written notice.
  4. Check return Fee:  P 2,000

How can I access my unit? How often?

Through the RFID and your PIN. You have unlimited access to the facility 24/7.

Who has access to my unit?

Whether it is a personal or corporate rental, the person who possess the InStorage keycard and/or PIN plus the combination or key to open the unit padlock is assumed to be the authorised agent of the owner.  Please keep your keycard and access codes in a secure place.

If I rent multiple units from you, can I just have one keycard?

If I rent multiple units from you, can I just have one keycard?

Yes, absolutely.  You can just request for one keycard to access your multiple units.  However, please purchase multiple padlocks for the different units.

What happens if I lose my keycard?

Please inform us immediately in writing so we can cancel your keycard and issue you a new one for a minimal fee.  Please note we honour only such requests from the authorised signatory of the lease contract.

Kindly provide InStorage with a written request signed by the authorised signatory of the lease contract and set the date to force open the padlock in the presence of an authorised InStorage representative.

How do I know my items are secure InStorage?

Access to our facility is through metal doors that are controlled by your personal key-in access codes.  We have security guards, CCTV monitoring and well-lighted facilities.  You also control access to your personal storage unit with your own padlock.

You can store home and office furniture, home and office accessories, appliances, clothing, files, sports and hobby equipment, toys, craft supplies, store inventory and many others!

Prohibited storage items are easy to remember.  These are:

  1. all illegal and banned substances (drugs, contraband, counterfeit items and counterfeiting equipment),
  2. Hazardous materials (poisons, corrosive substances, batteries and toxic materials, chemical waste, etc),
  3. Flammable materials (aerosols, compressed gases, explosives, fireworks, ammunition, etc.),
  4. Firearms
  5. Fertilizers
  6. Food, or any food and drink ingredients, all liquids ( to keep the facility pest free )
  7. Items that emit noxious fumes, rubber and rubber products,
  8. Temperature sensitive items and materials
  9. Live items
  10. Irreplaceable items like jewelry, artwork, property deeds. Don’t store anything that you cannot afford to lose.
  11. Any other items which may be detrimental to the health or safety of persons and the facility.

For everyone’s safety, InStorage reserves the right to inspect items for Storage in our facility.

We aim to provide our clients with clean and well-kept storage facilities, therefore we do not allow eating, drinking,  smoking, cooking, sleeping or the bringing in of pets inside our storage facilities.

Generally, if you rent our floor units, there is no weight limit as it is on the ground level.  However keep in mind that it needs to be light enough that you can lift the boxes or items  without injury to yourself.

There is no limit on the lower level lockers as it is directly on the ground but, the limit on the upper lockers is 500 kg.

Yes.  Our entrance lobby is air conditioned.  Inside the storage facility, we have electric fans to circulate the air and our storage units are vented out on top via a wire mesh cover.

No.  Our storage units are not air-conditioned but all storage units are open on top and secured via welded wire mesh.  This allows fresh air to enter the units and hot air to vent out of the units.

Since our storage areas are open on top, they are not dust free.  We have locker cubicles that are closed on all four sides if you prefer a more dust free option.

Our storage facility comes equipped with ladders and trolleys to assist you in the ingress of your items.  Should you forget to bring your own padlock, we will have some for you to purchase on site.
